Penetration Testing Service

To get started
Penetration testing
(or pen testing) is a security exercise where our cyber security experts will attempt to find, and exploit discovered vulnerabilities in your computer systems. The purpose of this type of simulated attack is to identify any vulnerabilities in your systems and report potential exposures.

Penetration tests are intended to exploit weaknesses in your IT network and determine to what extent a malicious attacker could gain unauthorized access to your assets.

What are the types of penetration tests available?
White-box pen test
– there will be a full disclosure of information ahead of any testing regarding your company’s security information. This will be a full knowledge approach for our ethical hacker.

Grey-box pen test – this a situation where our ethical hacker will be provided with some information ahead of time regarding your company’s security information.

Black-Box pen test – this is one where our ethical hacker will be given no background information besides your company name.

Covert pen test – this is a situation where almost no one is aware in your company that a pen test is happening, including your IT and security professionals who would be expected to be responding an attack. For our covert tests, it is essential for our ethical hacker to have a full scope and other details of their intended testing in writing beforehand to avoid any problems with law enforcement.

External pen test – this is a situation where almost no one is aware in your company that a pen test is happening, including your IT and security professionals who would be expected to be responding an attack. For our covert tests, it is essential for our ethical hacker to have a full scope and other details of their intended testing in writing beforehand to avoid any problems with law enforcement.

Internal pen test – this is an internal test where our ethical hacker will have direct access to your company network to perform testing on your internal network. This kind of test is most useful to determine how much potential damage a disgruntled employee could cause from within your company’s network.
