Extension of the Deadline for the Submission of the 2020 Income Tax Returns

On the 24th of March 2022 the Parliament of Cyprus has voted for a 4-month extension to the deadline for the submission of the 2020 Income Tax Returns (form TD4) for Companies and Individuals (form TD1) who have an obligation to prepare audited financial statements.
Based on the laws voted by the Parliament, the deadline has been extended by four months from 31st of March 2022 to 31st of July 2022.
It should be pointed out that in order for the law to enter into force, it shall first need to be published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Cyprus, something which is expected in due course.
